This year is an exciting year to be a comic book fan.  We have already seen a lot of toy lines revealed. Mattel has already showed off its new “Man Of Steel” toys to go along with the new movie. Not to be overshadowed by Mattel, Hasbro has a big surprise planned for Star Wars' fans. In addition to these lines, we are going to be getting some of our other favorite comic book characters in toy form. Learn more about the top toys of 2013.

Everyone seems to be excited for Zack Synder's new vision for Super-Man called "Man of Steel." Mattel announced that it will have a line of action figures designed after all of the most popular characters from the film including Superman and General Zod. For those that like Funko's quirky Pop! Vinyl line, they are going to be happy to see their favorite characters from the movie given a funky cartoon makeover.

We weren't sure what was going to happen to Star Wars when Disney bought Lucasfilm. We almost flipped out when Hasbro announced the new Black Series figures from the Star Wars universe. These 6 inch figures will include Luke Skywalker and Darth Maul.

Big Chief Studios is planning the release of their Doctor Who action figures. These scale models are so accurate that you would think that they walked off the set.

In the world of Star Trek, bobble heads are big. Big Bang Pow scored the license to Star Trek and will be releasing several characters in the line.

Even though there is no new Batman movie out this year, Batman continues to be an evergreen property for Warner Brothers. We personally can't wait for the just announced figures based on Adam West’s 1960s Batman. We are most excited for the Batmobile.

Black Widow has finally been released so now fans of the latest Avengers movie can complete their collection.

G.I Joe fans are going to want to attend the convention being held in Indianapolis this April. Several box sets will be available. We have to talk about the Man of Action: Secret Mission To Dragon Island set. This set takes our favorite characters and gives them a super secret spy makeover. James Bond eat your heart out.

Fans of Matty Collector need to get their trigger figures ready. They announced Ram Man in their Masters Of Universe Classics lineup.

The relaunch of the Thundercats was met with a lukewarm reception. Still, that doesn't mean in 2013 that we won't be getting new toys. Their new line of 14 inch figures will include the long awaited Cheetara.

We love video games almost as much as comic books. Both the Uncharted Series and the Assassin's Creed series are getting their own toy lines. In particular, Sideshow will be bringing out their version of Nathan Drake. We are also getting Superman and the Joker from the new Injustice video game.

While Max Steel hasn't been big in America, he has been huge in Latin America. Now Mattel is ready to reinvigorate his appearance in America with an all new toy line featuring characters from the new animated cartoon.
